Venture Into the Web3 Ecosystem with Venom’s $225,000 Hackathon!

Venom Foundation Launches Virtual Hackathon

The Chainwire Venom Foundation has teamed up with DoraHacks, Developer DAO, and Hacken to launch its first-ever virtual hackathon. This event aims to give developers access to all the tools they need to build on the Venom blockchain. The registrations begin on April 27th with the hackathon starting on May 8th, 2023.

Testnet Launch

This follows the recent testnet launch of Venom which gives users a firsthand experience of decentralized applications (dApps) as well as allows developers to test protocols and debug dApps. The ultimate goal is to encourage innovation within the ecosystem.

Organizers & Judges

DoraHacks is organizing this hackathon along with marketing support from Developer DAO and Hacken. Participants have until June 10th, 2023 to submit their projects for evaluation by an esteemed panel of judges consisting of Peter Knez (Ex CIO Blackrock) David Atkinson (co-founder Holochain), among others. Christopher Louis Tsu (CTO of Venom Technology) will be one of the judges at this event.

Prize Pool & Tracks

The prize pool for this event is $225,000 divided into three tracks: Web3, NFTs and Gaming; DeFi; and Tools and Infrastructure. Competitors are encouraged to use their skills creatively while developing soulbound tokens, stablecoins or crypto wallets over five weeks’ duration of this hackathon program.
